Companies, such as Netflix and Blockbuster, offer several different rental plan options for movie lovers. Some of your local libraries may also offer DVD rentals for free.

Netflix is probably the most well-known movie rental company. The movies are received and returned through the mail. Different program options are offered for one monthly fee; consumers can order and watch movies, keeping them as long as they wish without having to pay any late fees. This not only saves money in late fees and gas for trips to the movie store, it can save one’s sanity as well by not having to haul children along for the ride.
