Any movie buff would be more than happy to show off their DVD collection. You have the convenience of watching movies or television shows anytime from the comfort of your recliner. You can view your favorite movies and shows many times over. Having your own collection eliminates driving to the rental store and, at the same time, saves gas. There are no rental movies to return and no late fees to pay, because you forgot to return borrowed DVDs on time. The cost of going to the theater has skyrocketed and the price for a box of popcorn is outrageous.
Before you join a DVD club, visit a movie store (also available at discount stores, thrift stores, consignment stores, and grocery stores), or search for movies online, make sure you have provided adequate space to store them. It would be wise and convenient, if space permits, to keep your collection as close to your DVD player as possible. Shelves will work well, as will a storage tower, bookcase, file cabinet or DVD booklet with plastic sleeves. If you are a true movie enthusiast, it is possible to amass quite a collection in a short time. Make some decisions about how much you can afford to spend on this hobby and how often. Build your collection slowly, choosing only titles that you truly love and are going to watch. You should also think about how you are going to organize your DVDs, whether it be alphabetically and/or by category (action, comedy, romance, western and so on). Collecting DVDs is a fun-filled hobby that you can enjoy alone or share with others. Just choose your favorite movie, pop some popcorn, sit back and enjoy.
